To protect all of our loyal client’s appointments, to protect our business from loss of trading, and to ensure your appointment is relaxing and enjoyable, we have adapted the following salon policies. Understanding the Terms of Engagement is essential for both the stylist and client, to have a successful and enjoyable salon experience.
BOOKINGS
- All clients will be required to place a deposit to secure their appointment with us, which will be deducted from the cost of the actual appointment.
- Online bookings are subject to change. Please ensure all details are accurate when booking online so we are able to contact you if required.
CANCELLATIONS & NO SHOWS
- Cancellations within 48 business hours incur a cancellation fee of 50% of the total cost of the services booked.
- No show clients incur a cancellation fee of 100% of the total cost of the services booked.
- Cancellations are only accepted in person, or by notification of phone call / sms during business hours. Please note the salon is closed Saturday and Sunday. Our social media platforms are not self-managed, therefore all enquiries - including but not limited to cancellations and rescheduling will not be attended to by our team.
- We will send you an email and SMS reminder requiring you to confirm your booking with us. Failure to confirm 48 business hours prior to your appointment may result in the appointment being cancelled.
- Booked services cannot be cancelled on the day of, or upon arrival of appointment, or the cancellation fee will apply.
- We run by appointment, therefore late arrivals of 15 minutes or more may be unable to be serviced, and if so, the cancellation policy will apply.
PRICES & QUOTES
- All prices include GST. All prices are subject to variation without notice. To obtain a quote, please schedule an in-salon consultation with a stylist at Studio C & Co.
- Prices displayed are a guide only. Exact prices cannot be given via phone, email, sms or social media and are only confirmed in salon upon consultation with your selected hairstylist.
REFUNDS & GUARANTEES
- If there are ever any concerns with your hair after you leave the salon, please get back in touch with us within 7 days, and we will arrange a time for you to come back in for a complementary revision appointment as soon as is convenient. These services are complimentary, unless we provide more or new work that is outside what was discussed and agreed upon, prior to your original appointment commencing. We do not provide re-do’s if you change your mind, or choose not to follow home hair care advice. Please note: Any concerns outside our 7-day period will be considered a new colour appointment and will be charged accordingly.
- As per the Small Business and the Competition and Consumer Act, any problems with your service must be reported within one (1) week of the original service by phone call or in person.
- Our highly trained technicians provide professional results using the finest products available. Studio C & Co cannot guarantee lasting results unless you are using recommended home care products purchased from Studio C & Co and/or if you swim regularly.
DAMAGE TO CLIENT PROPERTY
- While we take utmost care in providing our services, Studio C & Co does not assume responsibility for any damage to your personal belongings including clothing or accessories. Please ensure that you wear suitable attire to your appointment and keep personal belongings safe from potential exposure to products or equipment used in our salon. Should any accidental damage occur, we deeply regret the inconvenience caused but we are unable to accept liability for these incidents.
ETIQUETTE
- Due to Queensland’s strict OH&S laws, all children under the age of 18 that are not receiving a service must not be present at your appointment. We work with hazardous chemicals, sharp and very hot tools, your child’s safety is important to us and it should be to you too.
- We kindly ask that mobile phones and other devices are on silent. You are welcome to use all devices in salon but as our vibe is relaxed and peaceful we ask they be silent to keep the beautiful environment we have.
- Please ensure to arrive to your appointment with clean hair, shampooed within 48 hours before your appointment. Avoid using excessive products especially dry shampoo or any styling products. If we are required to shampoo and/or blow-dry your hair in order to proceed, prior to your colour service to remove build up, you will be charged accordingly for those additional services.
- We also kindly ask that you do not attend with wet hair. This can cause delays in our schedule and sometimes, depending on the service can cause irritation to the scalp.
